Warhammer Next Week: Arachni-Rigs, Chaos Champions, And More

Next week is a slew of new miniatures as the Van Saar get a tech-savvy, distressingly spider-filled wave of reinforcements, while the forces of Chaos get an aspiring new Champion. Check out what’s next in Warhammer!
First up, the Chaos Queen who’s keen to be mean, Holga Clovenhorn. Though it’s worth pointing out she’s only a queenin the “You dropped this, Queen” sense, not the actual warqueen of the Darkoath. But Holga is an Aspiring Champion bristling with weapons who was originally going to be the Adepticon mini earlier this year. But starting next weekend, you’ll be able to just order her online.
Then we come to the spider-filled update for House Van Saar, whose forces wield advanced technology to great effect in the Underhive. They get a heavy hitter in the form of the Arachni-rig.
This model is a brute for Van Saar. The servo-rig itself can be shielded with light or heavy carapace armour cladding, while its choice of weaponry includes a mix of crushing servo-arms and either rad or plasma guns for cutting down targets from afar.
Not enough spiders for you? How about some cybernetically enhanced giant spiders? They come with a champion wielding a lascannon too, so there’s that.
Finally, a couple of high tech reinforcements, who don’t have any obvious spiders, but probably keep them in their hearts. Equipped with reliable weapons, solid armour, and advanced bodysuits, they’ll dominate the underhive at every range with their souped-up las weapons and servo glove. Either champion can be used as an Augmek or an Archeotek to suit your gang’s needs.
