Spider-Man: No Way Home has been out for two weeks and has already earned over $1 billion at the box office.

We all knew that No Way Home was going to be big. I don’t think anyone expected it to be this big.

The sequel opened to a record-breaking $587.2 million on its first weekend. Over the holiday weekend, it became the first movie since the pandemic started to hit $1 billion worldwide.

In its first 13 days in theaters, No Way Home has become the third-fastest movie to hit $1 billion at the box office. It sits behind Infinity War and Endgame. It is now the top-grossing movie of 2021. It’s also Sony’s top-grossing movie in North America ever.

Keep in mind that No Way Home hasn’t been released in China or Japan. The box office is only going to keep going up. Will it beat Avatar for the top spot?

Spiderman: No Way Home Is In Theaters Now

The movie sees the return of Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon; plus some familiar faces from across the MCU and beyond.

“For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.”
