Warhammer 40,000 Kill Team: Starter Set – $99

Enter the thrilling world of tabletop gaming with the ultimate sci-fi skirmish game – Kill Team. This starter set is packed with everything you need to take your first steps into Kill Team, making it ideal for sharing with a friend, or gifting to someone you’d like to introduce to your favourite game. If you want to level up the experience, augment your set with some terrain like that found in Killzone Octarius.

The new edition of Warhammer 40,000 Kill Team has been redesigned from the ground up as the greatest tabletop skirmish experience yet, and the Kill Team: Starter Set is the perfect place to start your campaign of clandestine missions. This epic boxed set includes two full kill teams – Veteran Guardsmen of the Death Korps of Krieg and cunning Ork Kommandos – alongside all the rules and accessories you need to start playing.

In this box you’ll find:

1x 96-page mini Core Rules: Learn your way around the brand new Kill Team with this tome of clear, concise rules for matched play, open play, and narrative play missions.

1x 56 page Recruit book: Discover the background behind the kill teams included in the box, including rules for fielding them in games of Kill Team and a host of missions set designed to teach you the core principles of Kill Team, before a Next Steps section which provides a helpful guide to building on and expanding your Kill Team experience.

22x Citadel Miniatures: Two full kill teams of Veteran Guardsmen and Ork Kommandos form the heart of war zone Octarius, each featuring a wide array of customisation and alternate assembly options. Extra detail parts allow for deep personalisation of your kill team, with many models able to be assembled as multiple different kinds of operative. Each team also comes with a full transfer sheet with over 400 markings and emblems for customising your models.

6x Kill Team Barricades and 6 pieces of Ork terrain: Scenery is a key part of Kill Team, and the rusted Ork scrap gives players a quick way to learn the terrain rules, while barricades are integral to the setup of each battle.

3x Combat Gauges: The new edition of Kill Team uses a simplified measurement system to create fast, dynamic games. These combat gauges feature the new system’s symbols and are perfect for slotting into narrow gaps between operatives when a regular tape measure would be too cumbersome.

Additional Accessories: Get straight into the game with a double-sided game mat, a Kill Team token sheet containing 85 tokens, and 10 dice.

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.

Kill Team: Veteran Guardsmen – $55

Imperial Guard regiments are often called upon to fight gruelling wars of attrition lasting years or even decades. As time passes, each company will shrink in size as casualties take their inevitable toll. Those that survive are the hardiest troopers in the Astra Militarum. Their battlefield prowess has been honed in the fires of war, forging them into warriors who have learned to fight and kill with lethal efficiency. Veterans are battle-hardened elites, the first squad into an assault, and the last to retreat.

This kit builds a unit of 10 Veteran Guardsman in the uniforms of the legendary Death Korps of Krieg, plus an extra Medikit model. The Veteran Guardsmen box is suitable for games of Kill Team, as well as Warhammer 40,000. One model can be built as a Sergeant Veteran, and nearly every model has a selection of weapon options, allowing them to be built for a variety of tactical roles. You can also build them as a standard Infantry Squad, armed with lasguns.

This set comprises 171 plastic components and is supplied with 12x Citadel 25mm Round Bases, and 1x Death Korps of Krieg Transfer Sheet. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.

Kill Team: Kommandos – $60

No right-thinking Ork trusts Kommandos. They sneak up on the enemy rather than charging in headlong, and have an unhealthy fascination with very big knives and their application to people’s backs, throats and guts. That said, having a band of Kommandos ambush the enemy mid-battle definitely has its uses.

This kit builds a unit of 10 Ork Kommandos, including a Nob, plus a Bomb Squig and Kommando Grot – just as well suited for games of Kill Team as they are a versatile Elites choice for your Warhammer 40,000 Orks army. Kommandos specialise in very unorthodox (for Orks) tactics like hiding in the shadows and springing traps, and they also employ all sorts of unusual equipment. With a wide variety of weapon options, you’ll be able to tailor them to different mission parameters, with plenty of spare bits to go around.

This set comprises 150 plastic components and is supplied with 10x Citadel 32mm Round Bases, 2x Citadel 25mm Round Bases, and 1x Ork Transfer Sheet. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.

In their every clash, the fate of armies or even worlds depends on their actions.
