The final Morbius trailer is here and it reveals some connections that will kick off the live-action Spider-verse.

One of Spider-Man’s lesser-known foes is coming to the big screen next month. Doctor Michael Morbius is a Nobel award-winning physician who succumbed to a rare blood disease. To fight it, he turned himself into a blood-sucking monster in search of a cure.

The Final Morbius Trailer & Origins Clip

Fans have been waiting over two years for this one to hit theaters. Here’s the last tease…

There’s an extended look at some of the scenes we’ve seen before (I’m hoping there’s more to that boat scene – we’ve seen enough that the tension is likely dead) plus some new looks at the good doctor’s powers.

The final trailer has more Michael Keaton (as Adrian Toomes aka Vulture) and Matt Smith (as Loxias Crown aka Hunger) than we’ve seen before. It seems that Morbius’ interaction with Vulture we’ve seen in other trailers is not where that relationship starts or ends. Sony is building a team of baddies.

And an introduction for folks that had never heard of the character till the first trailer dropped.

Cast & Crew

One of Marvel’s most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero, Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder, and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. What at first appears to be a radical success soon reveals itself to be a remedy potentially worse than the disease.

Morbius rages into theaters on April 1st.
