Pathfinder ‘Level 20’ Up For Pre-Order Now
Paizo and Gale Force Nine bring you a game about kobolds surviving that most dire of threats–an adventurer on the cusp of Level 20.
Exciting news for all you fans of Golarion. Gale Force Nine and Paizo’s new board game collaboration, Level 20, is ready for pre-order. The board game, set in the familiar world of Golarion, casts players as kobolds just trying to live a life. Unfortunately, they happen to be in the vicinity of a 19th level adventurer who only needs a few XP more to hit level 20.
And those hit points look awfully small, all of a sudden.
Over the course of the game, you and your pack-mates will have to dig through piles of trash in search of treasure, deal with twisting corridors, and of course stay alive. You won’t be able to slay the adventurer. But with a little bit of luck, and a whole lot of desperation, you might just embarrass them into running away.
This is also the first of three games planned, coming from Gale Force Nine and Paizo’s team up:

Pathfinder Level 20 is a game after my own heart. It asks the question, what would you do if you were a kobold? And any game that asks that is already great. But Pathfinder: Level 20 goes a step further.
In it you take on the role of kobolds who are trying to escape from an adventurer that only needs 5XP to hit level 20:
