“Soul Weavers have a different approach. These spacefaring mystics are draped in spirit stones, but they’re not just accessorising with their outfit – they wield the power and knowledge of the Aeldari souls stored within (both friend and foe), to enhance the abilities of friendly operatives. And they just might be the best support operative in Kill Team.”

Okay — so what makes them so great as a support piece in your list? First up, they are Psykers. That’s got a lot of utility already. For example, that opens up two unique actions the Soul Weaver can take:

Soul Heal is just that: a heal! This should keep your warriors in the fight longer and help the almost dead warriors become mostly alive! It’s D3 lost wounds and, in a game where heals aren’t exactly common, that’s kind of a nice boost.

The other action adds some very valuable APL:

In some ways you’re really just trading out the Soul Weaver’s action for another APL for a different operative. However, that target operative basically becomes super fast. Combined with the free Dash that Corsairs get their total actions goes up to 4 per turn! That’s pretty impressive.

The truth is that the Corsairs have lots of ways to use that extra APL and it’s just going to be a matter of picking the right tool for the job. You’ll have options with this Warband.
