Deadly and durable is the hallmark of the 40k armies we’ve seen coming from the GW studio this year and I don’t mind saying I love it.

Hey all,

The back half of the show is all about Harlequins. The front half is all about the hobby and mostly about basing your models. It’s an important topic.  Continuing our coverage of the MASSIVE Aeldari book we give y’all some heads up on what to expect from Harlequins. They are absolutely deadly and durable.

If all armies can be this good then the power is in the player’s hands. There are tons of amazing ways to play the game in the Aeldari book and the Harlequins are no exception to that.

The specific factions have been replaced by Light, Dark, and Twilight and each offers some powerful options.  It’s tough to choose which one I like best but we expect to see a lot of players opting for the ability that forces your opponent to miss on rolls of 1-3.  Can’t blame them there.

Harlequin players aren’t really forced to choose between lethality or durability. Players of this faction will absolutely make an impact on tournaments next weekend. Can anything be done to stop it? Probably.

I believe Tau have enough shots to tear down the lower model count armies. Custodes can still be tough to route out of terrain, so and so forth.  What this does is inject another predator into the ecosystem which while that may sound bad – it’s great for the game as the more powerhouse we have forcing players to make list composition choices the more likely we are to have a better game all around.

The hobby segment is back! We continue to talk about custom bases and how to improve your base game.

FTN mostly focuses on Warhammer 40k, but you will see that in the first few episodes, we take a severe deep dive into nerdom. These have been a blast to record, and I hope they help pass the time for you. Please please please check out the new Forge The Narrative objective markers. These things look awesome.
