3D Printed Tank You Can Take for a Ride

We’ve all seen 3D printed miniatures and gaming accessories. But, have you seen a 3D printed tank that an adult can fit in and drive?

Ivan Miranda built a huge 3D printer, so of course, he has to print big things with it. Over the last three years, he’s been working on a 3D-printed tank that not only has a seat for an adult but can be driven with control pedals. He started with printing smaller versions of the tank and worked up to the adult size. Make sure you check out his channel for a more in-depth look at how he created the tank – from the treads to the motor installation.

His first version of the tank had a full shell and remote controls, but Miranda wanted more from this build. He wanted a ride on tank. This video covers the conversion – final adjustments, seat build, and testing.

With the ride mechanics and seat done, it’s time to add a computer-controlled turret. There’s a canon on the way, too – what tank is complete without one?
