Finally a set for southpaws. If you’re more sinister than dextrous, then you’ll find a lot to love about the Left-Handed Secret Lair drop.

Tired of right-handed dominance? Well don’t go on a Liquid Snake style rampage because you didn’t understand what “recessive genes” means.

Do you need me to explain why Metal Gear Solid is a masterpiece?

Now there are cards for left-handed folks. So you can abandon your Genome Soldiers project and just play without worrying about where the mana cost, power/toughness, and planeswalker ability costs are located. It’s a set that’s been decades in the making. Behold: Finally! Left-Handed Magic Cards!

Finally! Left-Handed Cards Secret Lair – $29.99

When Magic was first created in the early ’90s, the original plan was to have two kinds of frames—one for righties, and one for lefties. Unfortunately, due to budget constraints, only the right-handed frames were produced and the game was billed as an ambidextrous product. We believe this wrong has gone unrighted (unlefted?) for too long. No more will our players be forced to play with sub-optimal, right-handed cards. This is Magic as it was always intended, featuring five of the game’s coolest lefties, lovingly rendered by Volkan Baga, Jesper Ejsing, Andrew Mar, Chris Seaman, Matt Stewart.

April Fools! That story is made up, but these cards are totally real. Grab this drop for your deck or collection and score an excellent talking piece until we update the game and make these frames the real ones forever. That last point was also an April Fools’ joke. Probably.

Finally! Left-Handed Cards is available for pre-order on April 10th. So mark your calendars. The set itself is currently scheduled for release on August 5th, 2022, barring any sort of delays such as another Evergreen ship running aground and causing shipping problems for everyone. But hey, better to have a delay than to learn a lesson, right?

Get ready, lefties!
