From cool dwarves to a moving tale of death and release, the artist alleys for the latest Secret Lair drop are looking pretty good.

We’re back with more Secret Lair revelations. This time we plumb three different Secret Lair artist alleys. Each batch of Secret Lairs has at least one series dedicated to a single artist who gets to do pretty much whatever they want. And this time around, the artists have delivered some deliciously well-crafted MTG cards. Wayne Reynolds, Magali Villeneuve, and Sidharth Chaturvedi have a cornucopia of delights for you. Check ’em out.

Artist Series: Wayne Reynolds – $29.99

Wayne Reynolds got his start at WotC working on Magic, then making all of your 4th Edition Dreams come true. His fantasy styles helped define some iconic D&D and Pathfinder looks. Now you can get a batch of Dwarves he designed, and they look great.

Wayne Reynolds started painting for Magic in the original Kamigawa block, and his art has been synonymous with the game ever since. There’s a tension in what he makes, in both incredible action pieces and still moments of reflection. Wayne’s art always seems ready to hurl itself off the cards and go springing around the room. For his Artist Series, Wayne asked for dwarves, and dwarves he did deliver. He even collaborated with us on the flavor text! Stout, dependable, and sharp as a knife, these dwarves are ready to be center stage in your deck or collection.

Artist Series: Magali Villeneuve – $29.99

Do you like fantasy? Sci-Fi? Magali Villeneuve has probably created an image you love for a franchise you’ve built your identity around. She’s worked on everything you love: Warhammer, Star Wars, A Song of Ice and Fire, Lord of the Rings, D&D, Magic: the Gathering… the list goes on.

If you’ve looked at a fantasy property in the past decade (and more), you’ve likely seen Magali’s art. From jaw-droppingly-beautiful people to intricate landscapes with unfathomable detail, it’s clear why Magali is a genre favorite. Responsible for well over 100 pieces of Magic art, this Artist Series was joyously inevitable. Magali also collaborated with us on the flavor text, and each text reflects her artistic process when working on that piece. These cards are a magnificent centerpiece for any deck or collection. Get yours today!

Artist Series: Sidharth Chaturvedi – $29.99

Sidharth Chaturvedi helps define the look of 5th Edition. With work on Curse of Strahd, Candlekeep, and Descent into Avernus just to name a few. Every piece he works on tells a luscious story, and in this series, the cards do as well.

Sidharth Chaturvedi has a story to tell. Every one of his cards could spark a novel—the light, the expression, the posing—each a story in its own right. When we asked Sidharth if he would honor us with an Artist Series, he asked if his four cards could tell a story. They tell of a journey filled with grief, struggle, and success. Sidharth even helped us craft the flavor text to make sure his story was properly told. There may be several interpretations of Sidharth’s story, but all can agree on one thing: these cards feature gorgeous art that make each retelling a joy.

All sets will be available to pre-order on April 10th
