Crime is rampant in the Streets of New Capenna. And whether it’s organized or not, crime is the heart of the latest Magic Card spoilers.

New Capenna isn’t kind to those on the bottom. But even if you’re on top, you probably have to do awful things to stay there. They say crime doesn’t pay, but New Capenna is proof that it does. That the biggest crooks get the biggest payoffs, and they’ll steal your soul with a smile. So get what’s yours, why doncha? Take a look at these crime-centric spoilers for the Streets of New Capenna.

New Capenna, Old Crime – Spoilers

Let’s start with a classic. Nothing personal, just business. You hit a guy, he whacks you, end of story. It’s cheaper if you hit a white creature because life is cheap in New Capenna.

But hey, it ain’t all murder and death. Life might be cheap, but stuff is expensive. And you gotta take what’s yours, whether it belongs to you or not. So Case the Joint first. Get a look at what’s coming down on all sides.

Locked door? The Citizen’s Crowbar is a key that will get you in all kinds of places. It’ll remove those troubling artifacts and enchantments that keep you down too. Power to the people an’ all that.

Once you’re in, you gotta make sure you even the score. And Even the Score will help you keep card advantage. Especially if your opponent is greedily trying to do the same.

You don’t wanna get caught in New Capenna. Everyone’s dirty, but those in power keep their hands clean–at least on the outside. Masked Bandits has a great way of coming in when you need ’em most, and will fix your mana until you do.

Need to make a hasty getaway? Slip out the back. And phase out until your next turn. Offensively or defensively this is a great way to protect or remove a valuable creature.

The People of New Capenna

It takes a lot to stay on top in New Capenna. Especially if you’re at the bottom. And nobody expects the Tenacious Underdog to hang on for long. But they do. This one will come back for 2BB and 2 life.

Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene…the plunderer. She’s great with treasure tokens, and the more you steal, the tougher she gets.

But it isn’t all crime and grime in New Capenna. It’s a city being built. A city full of people who make it. And who keep coming back, even after you take ’em out.

Nobody knows this more than Rigo, who tries to build up instead of tear down. A hard thing in New Capenna. But the city loves noble intentions. They taste great chewn up and spat out.
