WizKids has another new “life-sized” replica available. Only it’s a Demilich, so it’s an unlife-sized replica of an evil, soul-eating skull.

Exciting news from WizKids. They’re back with another giant foam replica trophy, and this time it’s a Demilich. As ICv2 reports, the Dungeons & Dragons: Demilich Unlife-Size Replica  trophy is set for release in May 2022. And just look at it.

Unlife Sized Demilich

This grim, grinning skull has jeweled eyes and teeth. The jewels gleam–but that’s just the start. They also light up! Per ICv2 and WizKids:

This replica is inspired by Acererak the Eternal, a powerful demilich from Forgotten Realms lore. The foam figure comes with carved gemstones as teeth and larger gems in its eye sockets. The eye sockets are also lit up be LED lights. This figure can be displayed in a resting position or rising from the dust beneath it.

WizKids Demilich Trophy – What Is It?

Unlife Sized Demilich

While we don’t have the details of just how big this figure is, yet, if it’s “unlife-sized” it’s probably distressingly similar to a human skull. Acererak, after all, is one of the most infamous demiliches in D&D.

If you’re wondering, Acererak created the deadly Tomb of Horrors. The deadly prize at the end of the dungeon is a confrontation with Acererak himself.

Acererak is also the mastermind and villain behind the Tomb of Annihilation. Newer D&D fans might be familiar with the only lich genre-aware enough of D&D heroes to come up with a plan to keep them from coming back from the dead.

But did you know? Acererak is ALSO the Lich on the cover of the Dungeon Master’s Guide? There he is.

Whichever version you go for, Acererak is a terrifying foe. And as the saying goes, keep your friends close and your enemies closer. So why not keep Acererak right on your desk? With two poses available, and a pre-order window that’s sure to be around the corner, this ancient horror can soon be yours,

Happy Adventuring!
