Those of you looking forward to journeying through the Radiant Citadel have a bit longer to wait after WotC announces D&D delays.

WotC announced that two of their upcoming D&D products were being pushed back, owing to “production issues.” The announcement came yesterday, via Twitter, pushing back two fairly big releases. This isn’t the only time WotC has faced production delays recently. And it comes at a time when supply chain issues impact a variety of industries. Supply chain disruption stings no matter what industry you look at. And in WotC’s case, it’s their next two releases.

Both Journeys through the Radiant Citadel and Campaign Case: Terrain will come out late. The new info is as pictured above. Radiant Citadel now releases in July, pushing back a full month. The Campaign Case: Terrain, originally slated to release July 19th, now comes out in August.

Journeys Through the Radiant Citadel Delayed

The delay means we’ll have two adventures set in D&D’s multiverse in back to back months. Journeys through the Radiant Citadel kicks off the multiversal madness with a look into the Deep Ethereal:

Through the mists of the Ethereal Plane shines the Radiant Citadel. Travelers from across the multiverse flock to this mysterious bastion to share their traditions, stories, and calls for heroes. A crossroads of wonders and adventures, the Radiant Citadel is the first step on the path to legend. Where will your journeys take you?

Journeys through the Radiant Citadel is a collection of thirteen short, stand-alone D&D adventures featuring challenges for character levels 1–14. Each adventure has ties to the Radiant Citadel, a magical city with connections to lands rich with excitement and danger, and each can be run by itself or as part of an ongoing campaign. Explore this rich and varied collection of adventures in magical lands.

Then one month later on August 16th, Spelljammer: Adventures in Space takes us to the stars. Well. To Wildspace, anyway.

July Means Spelljammer Academy & D&D Creatures

But alongside the new adventure, will be WotC’s free “training module” for Spelljammer. Spelljammer Academy will be a collection of short adventures designed to introduce players to the world of Spelljammer. You’ll be able to snag it for free on D&D Beyond:

If you’re looking for a taste of Spelljammer before then, the prequel adventure, Spelljammer Academy, will be available at no cost to all D&D Beyond users in July 2022.

Campaign Case: Creatures

And along with all of that, the new Campaign Case: Creatures. This will be a collection of 64 creature tokens that can be customized into monsters from throughout the multiverse:

Use these Campaign Cases together to create a premium experience for all your adventures.

All this, coming in July. June will be for antici-
