WizKids unveiled a new premium Vecna statue. And we’re not saying it’s cursed, per se, but it does have an evil tome in its chest.

Vecna might well be the most powerful, evil lich in all of D&D. So it’s only fitting that WizKids would turn their sights on the archlich to create a statue of the powerful necromancer. With an all-new resin statue in the works, this is one statue that’s probably not cursed. But with a footlong Vecna in your house, there’s no guarantees.

Either way, the new premium figure is intricately detailed. With plenty of space to showcase all of Vecna’s evil glory. This marks a bold new look for the Whispered One, who has been through many forms. Let’s take a look.

Dungeons & Dragons: Vecna Premium Statue – $262.94

The all-new Vecna resin statue by WizKids stands at 12” tall and includes intricate details, including the Book of Vile Darkness perched within Vecna’s ribcage.

Seldom is the name of Vecna spoken except in a hushed voice. Vecna was, in his time, one of the mightiest of all wizards. Through dark magic and conquest, he forged a terrible empire.

Just look at the details here. This is a villain with a brand new purpose. You can see that Vecna’s left hand and eye are absent, replaced with prostheses of worked gold. And, as WizKids points out, inside the Lord of Secret’s chest is the one and only Book of Vile Darkness. And while the statue is up for pre-order, quantities are sure to be limited. So if you want this newest iteration of Vecna, you’ll want to get in while the getting’s good.

And just if it starts whispering to you, probably best to call a paladin and get your house Hallowed.

Not that it’s cursed… but you can never be too careful with these things.
