Games Workshop is showcasing the rules for the Rotmire Creed Warband. These guys are putting the “fun” in fungus!

The Rotmire Creed is one of the new Warbands coming to Warcry courtesy of The Heart of Ghur boxed set. These poison slinging followers of rot are attempting to find a relic to convert the land into a pustulent swamp like their home. To do that, they are going to need a whole new bag of tricks. Today, we’re getting a look inside that bag!

“As we learned yesterday, one of the biggest changes for the new edition of Warcry is the introduction of ReactionsEach faction will have their own characterful rule which they can unleash upon their enemies – for the Rotmire Creed, it’s Bile Blood.”

Make your opponent pay for those criticals by taking some damage themselves. This is a classic “if I’m going down I’m taking you with me move” from the Rotmire Creed.

As mentioned above they are followers of Rot, specifically, the Leech Lord. He’s blessed them with a gnarly attack via blowpipes:

The good news for the Rotmire Creed — pretty much all their warband have the Scout runemark. That means those blowpies are going to be hitting from any member.

If you haven’t guessed it by now, the Rotmire Creed is really into poisons. And the Witherlords of the Rotmire Creed are packing the deadliest poisons for their own use. This stuff can take down some of the toughest targets around!

That’s a LOT of potential damage! With the blessing of the Leech Lord you might even hit top end of 30 damage which is kind of bonkers. Go big or go home, right?

The Rotmire Creed are coming soon and are looking to really mix things up in the Heart of Ghur. The Gnarlwood will never be the same again.

What do you think of the Rotmire Creed and their poison theme?
