Games Workshop has another awesome looking Leagues of Votann Vehicle on the way. Check out the new Sagituar ATV!

The Leagues of Votann are revving up their engines and bringing some more vehicles to the tabletop. Today, we’re getting a look at the brand new Sagituar ATV — and this looks like it’s ready to bring some BOOM with it!

via Warhammer Community

“Designed for surveying inhospitable alien terrain, the Sagitaur is a rapid-response ATV suited to scouting operations and lightning-fast armoured offensives alongside Hernkyn Pioneers. Its armoured carapace is durable enough to shrug off everything from rockslides to plasma blasts, making it an ideal spearhead for any League-sponsored colonisation effort.”

There’s some rather interesting info on the Sagitaur ATV from Games Workshop. For starters, these things typically work in pairs. They also can carry infantry as well. Curiously, from the lore, it sounds like they are going to get some funky deployment options.

“Once they’re right up in enemy lines, they disgorge their ornery cargo – a full squad of infantry, which can be split between the two vehicles. “

Color us curious because that sounds super interesting and different from your typical squad/transport deployment. Now, we’ve seen things like Combat Tactics for Space Marines but being able to split a squad and put them in two transports like this sounds…different. Are these Sagitaur ATVs going to be able to function independently or will they have a squad coherency rule? And what happens if one is destroyed in the unit? We can’t wait to see the rules on this one!

It’s also packing quite the firepower in a tight package. They have the options for “a nose-mounted twin bolt cannon complemented by a swivelling turret weapon, such as a HYLas beam cannon, L7 missile launcher, or MATR autocannon.” Seems like a lot of  bang for your buck here. And considering you’ll get a pair of them to work together they might be able to split duties with one geared for anti-infantry while the other takes some armor popping options.

It looks like you’re also going to get a few different head swaps for the drivers/gunners in this vehicle. We’re looking forward to this new kit for sure!

There’s more Leagues of Votann vehicles on the way — what else do you think they have parked in their garage?
