We know which books we’ve gotten and we know what’s on the way. But how many Battletomes are still needed in the Age of Sigmar?

Games Workshop released a Road Map for the next batch of Battletomes for Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. Adding in the ones we’ve already gotten, we’ve got a list of what’s been updated for AoS 3.0 — but what’s still missing? That’s what we’re going to check on today.

*Cities of Sigmar has been teased with the Dawnbringer Crusades but no official announcement on when that will be released.

The count breakdown is that we’ve currently got 9 books that have come out since AoS 3.0 launched. We’ve got another 5 books that are coming soon — Disciples of Tzeentch and Lumineth Realm-lords are right around the corner. That leaves 10 books that have yet to be announced/placed on a Road Map.

As it stands right now, that means we’ve got more books on the way and not announced compared to what’s actually been released. The tipping point is coming soon but if you ask AoS players this does feel a tad sluggish relative to how long AoS 3.0 has been out. We seem to get the Battletomes out in spurts with two of them dropping within a month after a battlebox comes out. It’s been a different release cycle for sure.

In any case if you’re still waiting for your 3.0 AoS book…I hope your patience will be rewarded.
