Age of Sigmar: Road Map Update & Big Reveals
Games Workshop dropped in a update to the Age of Sigmar 2022-23 Road Map and showed off a TON of new stuff coming soon.
Let’s start off with the big picture reveals and then zoom in and take a closer look at each. For starters we now know which Destruction Battletomes are on the way!
So there you have it! The Battletomes for Destruction are the Ogor Mawtribes followed by the Sons of Behemat. Mark those for an Autumn release date. So what’s coming with those Battletomes?
For the Ogor Mawtribes we got a reveal of the Bloodpelt Hunter.
“The Bloodpelt Hunter is a curious ogor – while most of his fellows immediately eat their prey and leave only marrow-sucked bones behind, he keeps whole body parts intact, preserved and strung about his person as trophies.”
Now, for the Sons of Behemat, they are getting the royal treatment with a new model.
“You may remember this royal colossus from the Realmgate Wars. King Brodd is back, and what a big hammer he has. “
This new Mega-Gargant will be created from an expansion kit for the regular Mega-Gargant kit. There’s a whole lot of new doodads that have been added to create King Brodd!
And the final big reveal for the Age of Sigmar news is the new Chaos Slaves to Darkness Army Box!
Featuring the new Daemon Prince model, new Ogroid Theridons, and new Chaos Warrior models, this kit has everything you’ll need to launch your Chaos Army!
Naturally, since this is an army box, you’ll also get the new Special Edition Battletome included.
