Want to get an idea of what fresh hells await you in Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen? Watch Legends of the Multiverse.

There are hundreds of D&D livestreams out there. That’s one of the biggest successes of the last decade or so. Streamed games are not just available, they’re familiar. To the point where companies take notice.

Which is why we have things like Critical Role’s Makeup Line. But the nature of a “live play” format means you can show off new rules within the context of a game. Which is why you might want to turn to the latest chapter of WotC’s own liveplay: Legends of the Multiverse.

Now Legends of the Multiverse is a big production. If you use the phrase “content creator” to describe how you interact with D&D, then you might recognize many of the faces here. And in this live play show, which originally premiered to show off how Spelljammer would be, now we watch the heroes enter Krynn to get a stealth preview of Dragonlance.

Want to see some of the new character creation things? Spells and mechanics and perhaps an NPC or two? Check out the first episode below:

Our crew enters into Krynn space for the first time and come face to face with an ancient enemy and horrific experiment floating about the world of Krynn.

Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen is a tale of conflict and defiance set during the legendary War of the Lance. Create characters from Krynn, the world of the Dragonlance setting, then march them to the front lines of battle against the terrifying Dragon Armies. A Dungeons & Dragons adventure that takes characters from 1st to 11th level.
