2 Minute Read
Oct 19 2022

Pathfinder Kingmaker is one of Pathfinder’s all-time hits. And now it’s here for 5th Edition, in print, for the first time ever!

Pathfinder Kingmaker is one of those campaigns that sounds like a platonic ideal. An unattainable dream that you can only describe as shadows on a cave wall. It’s ambitious and adventurous. Kingmaker fulfills the age-old promise of classic D&D/Pathfinder in the best way.

Your band of heroes play adventurers tasked with forging and running a kingdom. In between crises, they’ll have to actually do the business of running the kingdom. Along the way companion, NPCs can be recruited, helped, or abandoned. The world adapts as you play along. You can get a taste of it in the video game adaptation of the same adventure path:

And now it’s here. For 5th Edition. For the first time ever the world of Pathfinder crashes headlong into 5th Edition D&D. The circle is complete. The student has become the master and not just a master of evil, but just good clean adventuring fun.

Pathfinder Kingmaker: 2nd Edition – Pre-Order

The world of Pathfinder comes to 5E for the first time!

From feral beasts to supernatural sprits from the realm of fey, the Kingmaker Adventure Path forces heroes to test their might against hundreds of foes—be they bandit lords, evil kings, or demigods. This book presents rules for over 275 monsters and villains, 45 traps and hazards, and seven companion NPCs presented with a low-level and mid-level stat block, making them suitable for play as adventuring companions or even pregenerated player characters—all compatible with any Fifth Edition game. Designed to work alongside the new Pathfinder Adventure Path campaign book, this volume makes quick conversion of the campaign to 5E a breeze! Challenge your heroes while playing through the Kingmaker Adventure Path or populate a campaign entirely of your own design!

This Bestiary has done all the work of converting the monsters, NPCs, and more into 5th Edition rules for you. All you have to do is pick up the Adventure Path, and you can run with this book as your companion. You won’t have to do any work, really, just make sure you have the right bookmarks. Or wait until October 26th for the PDF version.

Either way, this marks the first time Pathfinder has officially crossed the 5E barrier. But with the Abomination Vaults on the horizon, it certainly doesn’t seem like it’ll be the last.

Happy Adventuring
