Either someone’s getting a new car part or this is the exhaust to something even bigger. What does the Rumor Engine have for us today?

Welcome to Tuesday and your weekly teaser from Games Workshop’s Rumor Engine. Today is an easy one to identify — but that’s part of the charm. Take a look and see what you can see.

“We’ve had a chaotic year here at Warhammer Community towers, and with all of the Slaves to Darkness models revealed yesterday, we must once again keep an eye out for corruption. The Rumour Engine seems fine right now, so here’s a preview of something amazing coming in the future.”

Looking at this exhaust port, it’s basically the same design as a ton of ones from around the 40k model range. That ubiquity is actually why it’s hard to place! The style looks similar to a classic Imperial exhaust like one you might see on a Rhino:

It also wouldn’t be out of place for an Ork either — although it might have more jagged bits to go along with it.

It’s funny too because it’s possible that this exhaust has been rotated around for the Rumor Engine. I do wonder what it could be attached to. There are lots of armies that use that Imperial style port after all. From Astartes to Sororitas to the Militarum and Mechanicus.

There’s also the possibility that it’s from an upcoming thing from Necromunda, too! That’s a whole other can of worms to go over. So this is the point in which we turn it over to you! If you’ve got a theory or idea of what this could be drop us a line in the comments with your idea. Let us know what you think it’s from and why.

That’s an interesting pipe you have there…
