The Liber Imperium is up for pre-order this week for the Horus Heresy game world. Let’s talk about what it brings to the game!

We talk a bit about the new Horus Heresy book in the front part of the show.   If you haven’t checked out the Horus Heresy game yet you really should if you have a craving for ‘historical’ battles.  This book adds 4 new playable factions back to the game for this edition.  The book looks and feels elegant with tons of flavor ready to hit the tabletop. There is a gritty feel to the entire game that feels both nostalgic and new at the same time.

After that we just have to talk about Blood Angels taking the top spot at the Games Workshop US Open event in Kansas City MO last weekend.  Zaak K put on a clinic with a fresh army list beating out Mani C in the finals.  Zaak will no doubt be giving inspiration to a whole new raft of Blood Angel players.  Mani also showed the world exactly what the Thousand Sons are capable of when paired with powerful new daemon allies.

After the break we do a little Astra Militarum wish listing. We know the codex is just around the corner and since we’re all Guard players it is hard not to have our eyes focused on that. Is there anything you’re hoping for as a player or possible opponent?  All the new artillery has me licking my chops.  I’ve always enjoyed painting tanks and armor pieces.

FTN mostly focuses on Warhammer 40k. But you will see that in the first few episodes, we take a severe deep dive into nerdom. These have been a blast to record, and I hope they help pass the time for you.
