Did you think the Cargo-8 Ridgehauler was a versatile kit? Well check out the new Chronos Pattern Ironcrawler for Necromunda!

When it come to surviving the Ash Wastes of Necromunda resourcefulness is key. It also helps to have a reliable vehicle you can hop in to ride around in. We’ve seen what the Cargo-8 Ridgehauler can do. Most recently, we’ve seen how it can haul those fancy new Promethium Tanks around.

But Games Workshop isn’t done with that base kit yet. Check out the new version coming soon — this time with tracks of it’s own.

“With its tracked propulsion, the Ironcrawler can drive over anything – from sand and rocks to prone enemy gangers or Gun-smyths who’ve sold you dodgy merchandise. Its sealed cab keeps the driver safe from radioactive dust storms and radioactive gangers alike, for a true all-terrain vehicle. “

This is a crazy looking upgraded vehicle. You can see the core of the Cargo-8 Ridgehauler. But clearly there’s tracks now. There is also a rear transport cage in the back for those crews who like to blast from the armored safety of the back of the truck/tank.

Honestly, that rear cab reminds me of the back of a Goliath Truck. It’s not the exact same but the ladder and door is similar:

And if you were wondering which gangs would be able to rock with this roller the good news is that any one can take it, with one exception:

“As with the Cargo-8, the Ironcrawler can be taken by any gang apart from the Ash Wastes Nomads – will you field it alongside the muscled Goliath, the sneaky Delaque, or the officious Enforcers? “

In terms of durablity, the Chronos has 1 extra hull point and is even tougher than the Cargo-8 Ridgehauler. You better bring some melta and lascannon fire if you want to slow this behemoth down. Furthermore, it’s got 4 upgrade slots on the body, 4 on the drive, and 4 for the engine! Tweak this land tank out however you’d like. This new kit does feature a mix of plastic and resin — that means it’s coming from Forge World. I’m betting it’s going to be one chonky kit!
