Horus Heresy: Salamanders On Deck For New Upgrade Packs
The Salamanders are getting the Upgrade Pack treatment and they are looking pretty spicy! Check out their fancy look.
It’s time for the Salamanders to get their fancy upgrade packs from Forge World for the Horus Heresy MKVI Armor. And I must say that their take on the “Beakie” look is unique. It makes them look more like snouts that breath fire — fitting for this chapter.

Salamanders MKVI Helmet Upgrades
Here’s a look at these 11 head swaps for the Salamanders in their upgrade kit. There are 10 helmets and 1 bare head option. There’s also that fancier helmet with a plume as a part of those 10 helms. Maybe I just haven’t noticed before but this batch looks very uniform. That’s not a bad thing! Also props to the painter of this set as the paint jobs are doing a lot of work in this picture to “sell” the look.
Salamanders MKVI Shoulder Pad Upgrades
Here’s the shoulder pads kit and you can see the Legion icon as well as the slight variations on each. I like the segmented rim — it gives it a sort of scaly look.
Both of these upgrade packs are coming soon and are designed to work with the MKVI Tactical Squads. These kits are in resin and will be available from Forge World.
