The Manual of Gainful Exercise will increase your strength both in-game and in real life with more than 100 subclass focused workouts.

If you want to increase your character’s strength beyond the maximum, you should seek out an item known as the Manual of Gainful Exercise. This is one of a number of magical tomes that can increase a character’s ability scores by 2, as well as increasing the subsequent maximum for that ability score. And it’s one of the only ways to get a score above 20.

But now, if you want to increase your strength beyond the maximum, you can find a Manual of Gainful Exercise, this time in real life.

A new book released on the DM’s Guild for less than the cost of a large combo meal sets out to do exactly what its in-game counterpart does. It describes fitness exercises, each one based on one of D&D’s many subclasses. You might have to spend more than 48 hours over a period of 6 days studying the book’s contents and practicing its guidelines, but hey, your Strength score will increase.

Manual of Gainful Exercise – $3.66

The Manual of Gainful Exercise is a collection of over 100 workouts, each based on a D&D 5E Subclass. Each has varying intensities and styles ranging from stretching and mobility to gymnastic strength to metabolic burners to power/olympic lifting complexes. I sincerely hope there’s something in here for you and your current capabilities. Even if this just inspires you to move your body, that’s a huge win – and something to be proud of!

  • 119 workouts based on the D&D sublcasses and 14 additional workouts – all fully tested!
  • An introduction, common modifications for beginners, and a section on why I wrote this.
  • Tables organizing workouts by Subclass, Challenge Rating (CR), and Location.
  • A glossary explaining the fitness terms used.

May it serve you well in the coming year
