Are you looking to jumpstart a new World Eaters rampage? Good! Games Workshop has you covered with a new Combat Patrol box!

The new World Eaters update is coming very soon and to prepare us all GW has announced Combat Patrol: World Eaters! This box is packed with 31 very angry models coming to take some skulls.

via Warhammer Community

“This box epitomises the massed frontal assaults the World Eaters love so much, packing in a whopping 20 Khorne Berserkers alongside 10 Jakhals – the only mortal cultists who could possibly keep up with their betters’ kill count – all led by a World Eaters Lord on Juggernaut. “

That’s quite the mad rushing Combat Patrol.

  • 1 World Eaters Lord On Juggernaut
  • 20x Khorne Berserkers
  • 10x Jakhals

It’s condensed rage and bloodshed distilled down to the very basics. What’s great about this new box is all the models are brand new! We also got this little tease about World Eaters army construction, too:

“While Chaos Space Marines are limited to a single Chaos Lord per Detachment, the World Eaters aren’t subject to such petty jealousy. They can field as many beast-bound Lords as their HQ slots allow, meaning you can muster the complete contents of two Combat Patrols – all without needing to spend any Command points on the new Heroic Support Stratagem. “

Oh really?! Well now…that makes this box extra tempting to snag. Heck, you might want to get two of them considering you can run both Juggernaut Lords in a single detachment! You’ll end up with 40 Berserkers and 20 Jakhals that will make one BRUTAL core troop payload.

While we don’t have any point information on the newer units we do have the point cost of Khorne Berserkers as they clock in at 22 points each. So this box is probably going be a minimum of  440 points of Berserkers. Honestly, I’m a little surprised that this Combat Patrol didn’t come with Kharn. That said, I’m okay with the more generic HQ option instead. I’m looking forward to this army being unleashed and this box is a great way to dive all in. And, if this box is priced at the standard $150, that’s going to be a hard deal to beat for getting a World Eaters army started quickly!
