Next week’s pre-order releases are angry, spiky, and sure to bring blood for the blood god, with Angron and the World Eaters.

One of the nice things about Warhammer 40K is that it understands subtlety is for cowards. The guy who leads the Iron Hands is named Ferrus Manus, and he has hands covered in metal. The big angry primarch fueled by demonic rage? His name is Angron.

You know exactly what you’re getting, day one. And while, sure, you can’t help but wonder if the parents who named their adopted son Angron weren’t maybe just dooming him to a life of always being angry, at least you can understand it.  All that to say, Angron and the World Eaters are up next week for pre-order.

Next Week: Angron And The World Eaters

First up, Arks of Omen: Angron. Angron, Daemon Primarch of Khorne is so cool he gets his own book. The new book introduces more Boarding Actions, upgrades for Space Marines, Chaos Marines, World Eaters, Grey Knights, Astra Militarum, and Orks Boarding Patrols, and also helps move the story along forward.

But most importantly, it’s where you’ll find the star of the show: Angron. Who has a fantastic new miniature:

Angron comes with two heads, and a ton of skulls for the skull throne.

While you might or might not like Angron while he’s angry, you will definitely like the new World Eaters Codex. They get their own standalone faction now, with rules for Blood Tithe, new unit specific rules, and more.

Leading the charge is the Lord Invocatus. A special hero who charges into battle atop the Juggernaut Khal’guruth, Lord Invocatus comes with custom weapons and rules that will make him an absolute beast in your army. Or you can make him a regular Khorne Lord on Juggernaut.

We also get a look at the Exalted Eightbound. You might be wondering, why are there six of them if they’re the Eightbound, and you’d be right to question it. If the fact that they only come in packs of three, which in no way adds up to eight evenly, makes you froth with rage, then that’s Khorne’s clever thinking for you.

New berzerkers! Learn well what they look like so you know who to shoot before they can get into close combat.

The discount berzerkers are here as well, Jakhals are human cultists full of combat stims and eight drops of World Eater blood that makes them into death-seeking melee murder machines.

Balefleet Battleforce Box

Of course, there’s so much more than Angron out there with the Arks of Omen storyline. Chaos Marines around the galaxy are looking for Abaddon’s mysterious relics. And in this Battleforce box, you’ll get 10 Possessed, five Chaos Terminators, a Heldrake, and the new Daemon Prince model.

But standing up to them are the Space Marines, who come ready for Boarding Actions. In Boarding Patrol boxes, you’ll get a ready made Boarding Party. This one consists of a Captain in Gravis Armour, 10 Assault Intercessors, and five Heavy Intercessors.

All this, next week!
