Looks like we’ve got some more feathers in our future. The latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop says so!

It’s another Tuesday and we hope you’re doing well because it’s time to put on your thinking cap and figure out what this Rumor Engine is teasing today. Although this one should be pretty straight forward. Take a look for yourself:

via Warhammer Community

“Some claim the Rumour Engine is not a highly advanced predictive machine at all, but that it is in fact the fallacious work of the Warhammer Community team themselves – cutting small sections out of whole images of upcoming models for our own amusement. An absurd notion, we might add, as no human mind could behold the glory of this week’s model and emerge unscathed.”

It’s feathers! Well that much is clear. But what are those feathers attached to? Looks a lot like ornamental gold plating to me. And the design seems like something straight outta the spawning pool if you know what I mean.

This would certainly fit the Seraphon aesthetic! Plus we know from the LVO Preview that there’s a whole lot more models on the way for that range.

Feathers are notable highlight/accent used in many Seraphon models. Plus, we’ve probably gotten previous Rumor Engine teases from their future updates as well.

On top of all that we know that the new Battletome is slated for a summer release and that would put this Rumor Engine 5-8 months out (depending on when they get released in the summer.

Anyhow, that’s my final guess for this particular Rumor Engine. But hey, if you’ve got a theory we’d love to see it in the comments. The Seraphon aren’t the only faction to use feathers in decorations…

I may be blinded by the hype for Seraphon. What else could it be though!?
