The memes of these Desolation Marines have been outstanding. There are other things in this box, though – like that beast of a dreadnought.

These new marines have been all sorts of up in arms. Some folks don’t know how they even made it past the design phase. Some folks are scratching their head trying to figure out how they will make it into army lists. Some folks are just asking why?  To me, a lot of those questions will get answered in time as players choose to give them a shot and start to layer on the best Chapter Tactics for them.

I’m sure we’ll continue to see those memes pop up, but that might change a little once hobbyists get them in their hands and have the opportunity to paint them something other than Ultramarines Blue. We’ll no doubt see head swaps and custom bits and all that jazz.  The absolute winner for me is the new Brutalis Dreadnought. It’s a beast!

I will absolutely be looking to play with the Brutalis Dreadnought.  It has all the sorts of things that make my Blood Angel heart sing.  The claw variant is the one that jumps out to me, but you can make a case for any of the configurations.  I am also starting with the multi-melta hip guns.  I plan be getting up close and personal.

At the back of the show, we revisit the topic of not showing up to the table already beaten. Approach every game like a winnable game, and with that mindset, you will absolutely win more games.

Adam is playing in the Cherokee Open over the weekend and bringing Grey Knights. How will he do? Find out next week, ha!
