Ahead of the D&D Direct, an ad, of an things, has leaked an upcoming Honor Among Thieves Magic set. Here’s what we know.

If there’s one thing Magic: the Gathering loves, it’s your money. Which, honestly, counts for like the next five of the top things Magic loves. But when you get to sixth or seventh, it is, without a doubt, crossovers. Not since the Jetstones met the Flintstones has someone been so crossover happy.

To the point where they’re crossing over the whole multiverse right now in the upcoming March of the Machine. Or with the Lord of the Rings fictional universe to showcase Middle-earth in Magic card form. Which is much better than POG form. Which is why it shouldn’t be surprising that of course there’s a D&D movie tie-in Magic Secret Lair.

But what is surprising is that the whole thing seems to have leaked through a now-removed Facebook ad. Take a look.

Honor Among Thieves Magic Secret Lair Accidentally Leaked

It’s exactly the sort of thing you might expect: each of the D&D movie characters in turn gets their own card. Starting with Chris Pine as Edgin the Bard, who will make an excellent Commander.

And the owlbear-transforming Druid, Doric played by Sophia Lillis takes a turn as a Tiefling Druid who starts off as a humble 3/3 but can transform into a fearsome owlbear, just like in the trailer:

The Barbarian, Holga, on the other hand, just wants to swing in every chance she gets. She’ll not only make it easier for other creatures to get through, but she buffs anyone striking directly, for a nice little extra value.

Hugh Grant on a Magic card. That’s what the world is coming to today. Here, as Forge the conman, he gets a lot out of playing with treasure tokens, and is a fantastic sacrifice engine just the same.

Simon, the Wild Magic Sorcerer is here with full on Wild Magic rules involving rolling a d20. Sadly nothing will turn you into a flower, or blue, but you might instead copy a spell, which is much much better.

And finally the Paladin, who buffs Auras, hits twice, and can really power up if you stack the deck just right.

All this available in a Secret Lair to be revealed at D&D Direct!
