Two massive new spoilers reveal an upgraded Elspeth and Wrenn and Realmbreaker combo here to ruin Phyrexia’s day.

With March of the Machine less than a month away, the end seems near. Whether it’s for the multiverse, as Phyrexian Compleation looms large on the horizon of destiny, or the Phyrexians themselves as an angelic new Elspeth Norn shows up, ready to soar above their false promises of perfection.

And soar she does, along with another big spoiler about the March of Machines storyline. But we’ll get to what Wrenn’s been up to in just a second.

March of Machines – Elspeth Spoilers

Here we have Elspeth, the last, best hope of the collected Planeswalkers and inhabitants who haven’t been turned into Phyrexians as of yet. And boy, does she hope it up. Elspeth not only spits out Soldiers who can become 3/3 Angels, but she also brings a wide swath of your graveyard back to fight. Assuming they’re cheap, that is.

And storywise, Elspeth appears to show Elesh Norn how they do things downtown.

You can read more about it here. But essentially, Elspeth helps poke holes in Elseh Norn’s delusions of planar unification, stirring up in-fighting among the Praetors while also delivering some truly powerful smites to the Mother of Machines.

And while all of that’s happening, we get a look at how the Planeswalkers are going to save the day. And it all starts with Wrenn merging with the invasion tree itself, becoming a plane-spanning tree capable of all sorts of things.

Mostly, though Wrenn and Realmbreaker make your lands give you extra mana, as well as giving you the ability to turn those lands into elementals. And owing to Realmbreaker’s realm-breaking powers, Wrenn lets you play those lands that end up in your graveyard alongside any permanents that you might have milled. A fantastic combo, if you can pull it off.
