We now have a confirmation for an Arks of Omen theory and a few model teasers: Commander Farsight is back with the Dawn Blade!

The fourth book in the Arks of Omen series was teased as something Xenos related. After a few other miniatures teasers as well as a few Arks of Omen hints, we now have the thumbs-up from Games Workshop officially. T’au Commander Farsight is back and swinging the Dawn Blade once again!

via Warhammer Community

“Puretide’s protege is now piloting a bleeding-edge XV-86 Supernova battlesuit, designed specifically to suit his needs by O’Vesa, the Earth Caste scientist who fights by his side as one of the Eight – Farsight’s hand-picked crew of companions. Though similar to the XV-8 Crisis suit, this hot rod sports greatly enhanced command and control suites, all guided by a fancy on-board AI – dubbed Supernova.”

Commander Farsight Upgraded

The legendary T’au Commander has gotten some upgrades. Not only is he getting a new model but it’s also a sweet new XV-86 Supernova battlesuit. It’s going to be interesting to see what other upgrades are in that suit as well.

This model confirms one of the teasers from late last year that everyone kind of figured out…and it ties into many of the Arks of Omen cards thanks to the Dawn Blade. Oddly, Farsight’s book puts him up against a different foe than who we were expecting. He’s not squaring off against Vashtorr (at least on the surface). He’s going up against the Orks in the War of Dakka!

“The infamous Bad Moons warlord Nazdreg, master of tellyporta taktiks, has taken up the reins of the War of Dakka – a never-ending conflict fuelled by the Orks’ desire to beat the Farsight Enclaves at their own shooting game.”

Arks of Omen: Farsight

Apparently some strange visions have lured Farsight back to the planet Arthas Moloch. His fight against the Orks will be interrupted by the appearance of a few Arks of Omen. Which is how that will probably tie back into the narrative of these books. The T’au aren’t the only ones featured in the book either.

“As with all Arks of Omen books, Farsight contains additional rules for playing Boarding Actions, adding Enhancements and Stratagems for the T’au Empire, Asuryani and Ynnari, Drukhari, Harlequins, and Adepta Sororitas. “

Additionally, it appears the first crack a the new Farsight will be in a brand new Boarding Actions box as well:
