Marvel D.A.G.G.E.R. from Fantasy Flight Games is set to release this summer and promises high-intensity action based on teamwork and strategy.

Fantasy Flight Games has announced an upcoming cooperative strategy game where players take the role of some of their favorite heroes from the Marvel universe, including Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Black Widow.

Unleash Powerful Combos

Players will work together and form teams to take on the forces of evil. Marvel D.A.G.G.E.R. is a game about teamwork and setting up combos, so team composition will be very important. Heroes will be able to become “empowered” in order to add success to the attribute tests they perform. By being empowered or attacking an enemy that’s primed to attack them back, players can use their own combo moves.

Beyond just being cool and flashy, combo moves to advance the Team-up Track, a shared resource that will allow heroes to unleash their ultimate abilities.

Defeat Villains and Complete Missions

Marvel D.A.G.G.E.R. stands for “Defense Alliance for Global and Galactic Emergency Response” since these heroes will be traveling across the globe in order to quell villainy where ever it spawns. Each time the heroes complete missions and battle enemies, it brings them one step closer to their nemesis. However, time is limited. In order to complete the missions, hunt down your nemesis and save the day, you’ll have to find the best and most strategic route for each mission.

Marvel D.A.G.G.E.R. is currently set for release sometime this summer. However, as we get closer to the release date, we are sure to learn more details. But, according to FFG, it’s a game for 1 to 5 players and takes about 3 hours to complete. So, don’t expect this game to be just another casual superhero game. You’ll need to bring your A-game in order to get ready to save the world in Marvel D.A.G.G.E.R.
