It’s here. Finally. That’s right we’re talking Werewolf the Apocalypse, one of the only RPGs whose seemingly disparate audience is actually almost just a single circle if you made it into a Venn diagram.
Announced back in 2019 for a potential 2021 release, back when we all had hope, the 5th Edition of Werewolf the Apocalypse is at hand. And sure, it’s a long delay. But it’s an understandable one, given all that the World of Darkness has been through up to and during the pandemic. And hey, it’s 2023, the year everyone is kind of relieved when any sort of apocalypse rears its head.

Werewolf: the Apocalypse, if you’re unfamiliar is a game of werewolves. You play as a new generation Garou, tasked with protecting, or at least avenging, Gaia, the spirit of the Earth. Kind of like Captain Planet filtered through the lens of Underworld.
The new book will use the 5th Edition World of Darkness rules and includes everything you need to know to play and run the game. Whether that’s how to build a legend and renown as a werewolf or delving deep into the world’s lore. In the 300-page book, you’ll find an intro adventure, some sample characters, and basically everything you need to plunge headfirst into the world of Werewolf.
