One last gasp from Warhammer Fest 2023. This time it’s a look at The Old World in all new glory. Tomb Kings. Bretonnians. Check ’em out!

The Old World promises to revisit the glory days of Warhammer’s past. When you used to have to stack models on trays in order to move them around. And even if those mechanics aren’t making a comeback any time soon, the world that they lived in will.

With Warhammer: The Old World we revisit familiar lands and faces. Or lack thereof, in the case of the Tomb Kings of Khemri. But Tomb Kings and Bretonnians play a big role in the Old World reveals at Warhammer Fest 2023. Check out what we saw!

The new video reveals the first two new models from Warhammer: The Old World. And what a set of models this is. We get a look at a Tomb King from Nehekhara, and a Bretonnian Paladin from Bretonnia.

Both models are resin, and are the first of many new models along the way. Of course, they won’t all be resin. New models will be in both Citadel plastic and Forge World resin, and will bring together all manner of “resurrected and revitalised” miniatures from Warhammer’s past.

But for now, just look at the absolutely gorgeous details on these models. The new Tomb King is preserved in all its former glory, giving shape to the mummified flesh and immortal bones that will leave them ruling over all, one day.

Unless the Bretonnians have something to say about it. This Bretonnian Paladin has clearly been blessed by the Lady, and comes with a “friend” in the finest tradition of the coolest Warhammer minis, past, present, or future.

Both of these models are just the start. Games Workshop has promised “a flood” of new models coming for Warhammer: The Old World in the coming months. So if you’re ready for fantasy battles like you remember from back when you were young and still had hopes and dreams, get ready for Warhammer: The Old World.

Stay tuned for more!
