The Beastmen are back in 40k with a fantastic brand new kit in the final chapter of the Gallowdark saga!

Gallowfall is here and up for pre-order this weekend but we got our copy early from Games Workshop and are diving into the box to see what we can see. And it’s looking like a great set for terrain and miniatures alike!

Beastmen Are BACK (Again)

This is probably one of the most exciting releases for Kill Team yet. Beastmen are in the box with a brand new plastic kit. This is one of those Kill Teams that I really hope gets even more support later on from GW. They have the plastic sprues ( 3 in total) so I just hope they become a unit option for 40k propper at some point.

Really though I’m hoping we see the Beastmen get a full army list or at least a new Lost and the Damned army. Between them and the Chaos Traitor Guard we could see that happen! While these Beastmen aren’t the first 40k minis we’ve had for them they are a better kit than the Blackstone Fortress versions. You’ve got a ton of options with all the various horns and head swaps you can do. Plus the specialists sprue adds even more flavor for you.

Send In The Salvagers

The Leagues of Votann are also getting a Kill Team in the box, too. While the team is made from the Hearthkyn Warriors box there’s the specialists sprue that takes that set to the next level.

You’ve got options like the concussion knuckledusters, a grenadier belt, a hauler-pack and more. There’s even the Jump Pack wearing warrior that I hope we see more of (like an entire unit of them) later on.

I’m not sure I’d want to wear a jump pack with all those low corridors in the Gallowdark but maybe they know something I don’t. Anyway you slice this one it’s a nice addition to the exisiting kit.

There’s also the additional terrain in the box as you would expect. This is enough to furnish the play board included but this set really shines when you combine it with the previous ones. If you’ve collect the previous two chapters of the Gallowdark saga then you’ve got plenty of terrain to create a Space Hulk experience all your own!

Warhammer 40,000 Kill Team: Gallowfall

In the doomed depths of the space hulk Gallowdark, elite kill teams hunt each other through crumbling passages. The space hulk is on the brink of annihilation, chunks of it torn away by the catastrophic crash of an Imperial prison barge. As it drifts ever-closer to destruction, long-confined distress signals emitted by an Ironkin of the Leagues of Votann finally break through to the galaxy beyond – and now The Reachfar, a cruiser of the Trans-Hyperian Alliance, speeds to the hulk to rescue their lost comrade. This will be no easy task, however, for they are hunted by a pack of Fellgor Ravagers – fearsome Chaos Beastmen hunters who stand among the Gallowdark’s most ferocious and cunning denizens.
