It had to happen eventually, but who would have expected this soon? There’s an official Matt Mercer Hooded Gamemaster action figure now.

Critical Role is at it again. The multimedia empire that grew out of a birthday D&D game has announced a new action figure in partnership with Super 7. The two will be working on a 3.75″ scale version of a “Hooded Gamemaster”. That is to say, it’s Matt Mercer from the animated intro to Critical Role, Campaign 2, as seen here.

Now that Your Turn To Roll is stuck in your head for the rest of the day (you’re welcome), let’s talk about the action figure itself. With five points of articulation, the Hooded Gamemaster has all he needs to concoct nefarious plans.

This figure is the first in an “exclusive set” which is interesting, given that Campaign 2’s heroes, the Mighty Nein are already available in action figure form, from Super7. Action figure form, it should be noted, is still not quite on par with being back in POG form.

Matt Mercer Action Figure – Hooded Gamemaster and Friend

The Hooded Gamemaster is the first of an exclusive set of ReAction Figures created with our partners at Super7, each featuring 5 points of articulation as well as accessories!

The Hooded Gamemaster is the all-knowing creator of worlds full of mythical lands and mystery for eccentric characters to meet and navigate. This 3.75” scale articulated Critical Role ReAction Figure includes a 20-sided die and features the smirk shown just below the hood as a puzzling indicator of the thrilling adventure they’ll take you on.

Roll the dice and add the Critical Role ReAction Figure of the Hooded Gamemaster to your collection!

No word yet on who the other miniatures in the “exclusive set” are. But for now, you can order your very own Matt Mercer action figure from the Critical Role store.

The question now is, where will you find enough plastic cubes to stack in a wall that you can then make your action figure crash through like a 90s commercial?
