There are three days left to claim the special Warhammer Fest cosmetics in Warhammer 40K: Darktide, along with the new Hotfix.

Warhammer 40K: Darktide keeps on truckin’, getting better and better day by day, patch by patch. The latest Hotfix, 1.0.51 tackles some necessary shader system and penance issues. As well as offering folks one last chance to get the special Mancunio Campaign Cosmetics, aka the Warhammer Fest cosmetics.

They’ll disappear on May 18th, which is this Thursday. Check ’em out while you still can.

Warhammer 40K: Darktide – Mancunio Campaign Cosmetics and Hotfix 1.0.51

Darktide is in a constant state of getting patched. Right now some cosmetic items have been popping in and out of existence (which still are, since the latest patch for this has been temporarily rolled back). Alongside that, the shader caching system has had some love. Here’s a look at what’s new in the Hotfix:

Here are the notes for Hotfix 1.0.51 which just went live on Steam, and will be out shortly on the Microsoft Store.

  • Fixed an issue with the shader caching system (which caused the stuttering and hitching after the last patch).
  • Fixed a bug where some cosmetic items disappeared, leaving empty slots on your rejects.

this has been temporarily rolled back due to an unforeseen issue

  • Penances that required other penances to be completed will now be unlocked and items rewarded as expected when you enter the Mourningstar. One such Penance is the Veteran Sharpshooter “For the Emperor” Penance.

But more importantly, this is your last chance to snag the special cosmetic items. With the code WarhammerFest through the Darktide site, you’ll be able to snag a helmet to mark the occasion, as well as a special hammer ornament. So if you want to dress your best for battle on Tertium, you might want to snag these now while you still can.

Good luck out there, Rejects!
