About Baldur’s Gate 3

In the year 1492 DR, more than 120 years after the events of Shadows of Amn and a few months after the events of Descent into Avernus, the forces of evil are gaining power. The mind flayers, powerful extraterrestrial dictators with squid-like faces and psychic abilities, have discovered the means to traverse across dimensions. Their intention behind this newfound ability: invasion.

You’ve been captured by the mind flayers, who are invading Faerûn. These mind flayers have implanted your party with illithid tadpoles, parasitic creatures capable of controlling and transforming their hosts into mind flayers. Can your infested party gain control of themselves and stop the mind flayers’ plan?

Baldur’s Gate 3 arrives on August 31.
