ATTN: Diablo IV fans–check out this mash-up! Add the classes of the hit video game to your next diabolical D&D session thanks to these class guides from Kobold Press.

Rajan Khanna over at Kobold Press has adapted some of the classes available in Diablo IV to 5e. These are ready to use for your next character and include tailored abilities you can gain as you level up.

Rogue: Shadowbound

Shadowbound rogues possess a natural affinity for darkness, which may stem from either a bond with a dark entity or extensive time spent in a realm of shadow. These Shadowbound rogues harness the power of darkness to conceal themselves, teleport, and even absorb damage.

Druid: Circle of Predators

The Circle of Predators druids harness the power and aggression of predatory creatures like bears and wolves. Through their wildshape ability, they can transform into a hybrid form that combines animal and humanoid traits, resembling werewolves and werebears. They can do this without the negative effects of lycanthropy.

Members of this druidic circle advocate for a proactive stance in safeguarding and maintaining nature. They prioritize taking preemptive action when confronting potential dangers.

Tales of the Valiant

These classes are also compatible with Kobold’s Tales of the Valiant, a new way to play 5e. It combines the Creative Commons foundation of 5th with new elements to make a “Kobold-style 5E with teeth.”

New 5E Options. Of course, ToV includes the fighter, wizard, and rogue, and dwarves and elves. Much more than that, it provides a wealth of new options and expanded gameplay. Explore the new Mechanist class and try out the kobold, outsider, and beastkin character lineages. Tales of the Valiant provides hundreds of new options for talents, spells, and monsters.

Create Your Own World and Share Your Adventures. Tales of the Valiant is built on the Creative Commons and Open Roleplaying Content licenses, so the core rules are available for everyone to expand on as part of the 5E global community. Keep your investment in 5th Edition going strong!

Retain Compatibility with 5E Tradition. While ToV brings new options, its roots are familiar. Play any 5E adventure with creatures and spells from Tales of the Valiant—and keep the best of both worlds at your table!

Backers get two exclusive playtest packets with new classes and monsters before the rest of the world. The Kickstarter is live now – but hurry, the campaign ends Friday.
