Pre-orders for Games Workshop are up and there’s a new Warhammer Underworlds Starter Set this weekend!

via Games Workshop

Warhammer Underworlds: Starter Set $60

The Mirrored City of Shadespire is a nightmare plane of illusion and madness, an ever-changing labyrinth of endless stairs, cramped streets, and soaring archways. Dare you enter and claim the glory that awaits?

This starter set is the ideal way to get into Warhammer Underworlds. With two complete warbands, the full rules, and all of the dice, tokens, and boards that you need to play the game, there is no better choice to begin your adventures in the ultimate competitive miniatures game.

The warband-specific decks in this starter set are designed for use in the Rivals game format – a format that uses pre-made decks ready for play straight out of the box, so that while you may decide to craft your own card decks once comfortable with the rules, this is not a requirement to get started.

This set contains:
– A 52-page Rulebook
– A 52-page Playthrough booklet
– The complete Farstriders warband – a company of Stormcast Eternals featuring three push-fit miniatures, cast in blue coloured plastic to ensure they stand out even when unpainted, plus fighter cards and a full Rivals deck of warband-specific cards that let you unleash their noble strategies in battle.
– The complete Sepulchral Guard warband – a band of skeletal warriors comprising seven push-fit models, cast in bone coloured plastic, plus fighter cards and a full Rivals deck of warband-specific cards that let you harness their power in battle.
– 2 double-sided, fold-out game boards that can be used to assemble your battlefields
– Warhammer Underworlds tokens, including objectives, wound markers, glory points, and many more
– 8 Dice – 5 Attack dice and 3 Defence dice, enough for the most devastating blows and desperate defences!

Warhammer Underworlds: Wyrdhollow – The Headsmen’s Curse $42

The Headsmen’s Curse has come. Nothing shall stay the bite of the dread blade Terminus, for it was fashioned long ago by Nagash himself, and has a vile sentience of its own. Damned souls surround it, bound to serve as judge, jury and executioner. Their former identities are subsumed into the greatsword’s necromantic magic; always there is one to wield the blade, one to sharpen its edge, one to bear the headsman’s block, and a scriptor to sentence the condemned. No matter the crime against the Supreme Necromancer, the sentence is always the same – Death!

The Headsmen’s Curse is an aggressive warband, seeking to bring the justice of Nagash to the Wyrdhollow. They’ll have to work together to write out the sentence, sharpen the blade, supply the block, and make the killing strike. This set includes a full Rivals deck to use straight out of the box, and the models are all push-fit – so you can get playing in no time.

– A 32-card Rivals deck consisting of:

Warhammer Underworlds: Wyrdhollow – Voidcursed Thralls Rivals Deck $29

A curious affliction has been observed in Wyrdhollow – The energy from loosed Realmshaper Engines is striking living creatures and altering them to some unknown purpose. More sinister still, those affected appear to lose their volition, becoming vessels for a power and will not their own. While little is known about these emotionless Voidcursed Thralls, what is certain is that they are entirely devoted to their mysterious cause, forgoing sleep, safety, and in some cases survival. Those who seek to prevent or defeat them risk falling prey to the same cosmic hex, their flesh being slowly claimed by the star-dotted blackness of the Void itself, until they are little more than silhouettes.

Get stuck into Warhammer Underworlds or mix up your game with the complete Voidcursed Thralls Rivals deck, usable by any warband – including those from past seasons. These cards can be used as a standalone deck in Rivals games, mixed with a warband’s unique cards for Nemesis games, or used to build a deck from the ground-up in Relic games. This deck doesn’t include any spells, so warbands from any season can put it to good use.

Each card is brand new to the game, focused on making your fighters Voidcursed so they can unleash hidden powers. Aggressive warbands with numerous fighters such as the Grinkrak’s Loorncourt, The Headsmen’s Curse, and Ephilim’s Pandemonium will find Voidcursed Thralls particularly suited to their play style.

This deck contains a 33-card universal Rivals deck, consisting of:
– 12x objective cards
– 10x gambit cards
– 10x upgrade cards
– 1x plot card with additional rules for using the Voidcursed Thralls deck

You’ll need a Warhammer Underworlds warband, including their fighter cards, to use the contents of this deck.

Space Marines Heroes Series 3 – Death Guard $64

Chaos Space Marines are superhuman warriors sworn to the Ruinous Powers of the warp. Engineered long ago by the Emperor, the Traitor Legions turned against the Imperium in a bitter war, and now pursue their own mad ambitions.

The Death Guard are the Traitor Legion most favoured by Nurgle, the Chaos God of disease and despair. Utterly devoted to spreading the Plaguefather’s hideous infections across the galaxy, these morbid soldiers are living plague vectors whose bloated bodies boast grotesque resilience.

Space Marine Heroes 2023 – Death Guard brings you a selection of seven of these revolting warriors, armed with a variety of weapons and accompanied by their own personal Nurglings. Each has a single unique pose, and can be assembled with your choice of a bare head or helmet.

Each box contains a total of eight miniatures, including at least one of each of the following:
– Pustus the Vile, a Malignant Plaguecaster with a corrupted staff
– Gangrus, a Plague Champion armed with a plasma pistol and plague sword
– Morslug, armed with a plague spewer
– Gurg the Foul, armed with a boltgun
– Kholerus, armed with a boltgun and blight grenade
– Scabboth, armed with a flail of corruption
– Clotticus, armed with a plague sword and carrying an icon of despair

Each Space Marine Heroes miniature is a multipart plastic model, cast in green plastic and supplied with a textured rubble base. These kits are push-fit and push-off the frame – so no glue or clippers are required to assemble them. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Colour paint.
