There’s just so much delicious stuff here, the game’s release can’t get here soon enough.

And from the look of it, the environments will be huge. The ways you’lll have to explore will be vast. All of it comes together in a mix of customizable weapons, parts, and movement. Let’s take a look.

New Armored Core Gameplay Trailer

You ever just see something and immediately think okay yes I have to put this in my mouth right now, because that is absolutely the vibe here. Each of the individual levels seems asolutely massive. Some FromSoft fans might see a bit of Elden Ring’s recent design in the mix in the form of those catapults that send the Armored Core soaring into the sky.

Although instead of just traversing into the next area, these are a big part of combat. They can help your mech get airborne, and from there you can use your boosters to maintain a positional advantage over your enemies and use it to rain destruction down from above.

We also get a look at the myriad systems each Armored Core has at its disposal. The sheer amount of customization you can use to build out for each mission is a blast from Armored Core’s past. Want to bring the heaviest weapons? Grab some tank treads, but you’ll be sacrificing mobility. Grab some digitigrade legs to do some high jumps. Or some spider-legs to slide around like you’re ice skating through every level.

And that’s just one aspect of it. There are so many weapons, so many accessories, something for pretty much any style of play.
