Legions Imperialis: 5 Units We Want For The Solar Auxilia
The Solar Auxilia is going to get a full army treatment in Legions Imperialis. Here are the units we hope makes the jump!
After the Astartes Support Box was revealed we got to thinking that there’s probably going to be a bunch of units coming to help fill out the roster for the Solar Auxilia. And, based on the current models and what the Space Marines are getting, here’s a few we hope make the jump to epic scale.
It’s worth a quick note to mention that GW did create a new unit with the Aethon Heavy Sentinels so they might have some more in the works for the Solar Auxilia!
Anyways, on to the wishlisting!
Five Units We Want For The Solar Auxilia
Terrax Pattern Termite Assault Drill
It’s part of the Forge World range and I’m here for this one. It would be pretty awesome to have a few of these pop-up and disgorge a bunch of Auxilia behind enemy lines!
Solar Auxilia Rapier Battery – Quad Launcher / Multi-laser
After seeing the Space Marines get some support units like these I could easily see the Solar Auxilia getting their own versions for the same reasons. Having these rapid deployment artillery batteries seems like a good idea when you’ve got that much material to deal with!
Solar Auxilia Dracosan Armoured Transport
One thing I’ve noticed from the Legions Imperialis previews so far is a lack of transports. I’m not sure how all those bases are going to get around the tabletop with all the tanks and other firepower dumping pain on them. That’s where this Dracosan Armoured Transport would come in really handy!
Solar Auxilia Basilisk/Medusa
Hey, we already got Leman Russ tanks so why not the Solar Auxilia’s version of the Basilik/Medusa? Seems like a great idea for some long range fire power for that army!
Imperialis Militia Carnodon Battle Tank
It’s another tank. Only this is the bigger Carnodon Battle Tank! I’m just thinking that if I was going to play the Solar Auxilia army in Legions Imperialis I’d want access to all the armor I could get a hold of. And the Solar Auxilia has a LOT of tank options. So I wouldn’t be shocked to see these steel columns rolling across the tabletop.
