Everyone’s getting into the Spider-Verse right now, even the Marvel Multiverse RPG, with a newly unveiled expansion.

Marvel unveiled a new expansion for the Marvel Multiverse RPG that will take players into the Spider-Verse. In this Spider-Man-centric RPG, players will have the opportunity to dive into the many, many worlds of Spider-Man.

This new expansion, much like the incredible movie, out in theatres now (which you should see while you can), will let players take on Spider-Man and Spider-Related characters, including Carnage, Spider-Ham, Noir Spider-Man, Spider-Punk, and more.

Spider-Verse Expansion For the Marvel RPG

The SPIDER-VERSE EXPANSION takes you deep into the life of Marvel’s most iconic hero, Spider-Man, and all his variants and villains from throughout the Multiverse. This expansion to the MARVEL MULTIVERSE ROLE-PLAYING GAME gives you new rules for creating Spider-heroes of your own, along with a deep dive into all the spider mythos. Explore new ways to build compelling supporting characters, new rules to handle symbiotes and clones, and how to deal with your biggest foes (like the Sinister Six!) Plus, new equipment, adventure hooks, and dozens of new characters including Carnage, Chasm, Madame Web, Spider-Ham, Spider-Man Noir, and many more!

If you’ve never taken the Marvel RPG’s playtest rules for a spin, it breaks superheroes down into their constituent powers, like many of the crunchier superhero games out there. However, the Marvel RPG is unique in that it has its iconic characters and wants players to take those reins.

You’re as encouraged to play as Captain America (or in the case of the Spider-Verse Expansion, someone like Spider-Gwen or Pavitr Prabhakar) as you are to create your own weird assortment of powers that may or may not work the way you want.

At any rate, the Spider-Verse expansion book is due out in Summer 2024, just in time for the end of the Spider-Verse trilogy.

Yet one more venue within which to recreate the Spider-Man pointing meme.
