Total War Pharaoh – Egyptian Lords And Factions

With dynamic real-time battles and incredible turn-based empire management, can you rise above your adversaries to become Egypt’s last great Pharaoh and stand against the collapse of an iconic civilisation?

With the end looming for the great Pharaoh Merneptah, the people of Egypt cry out for a new leader. Many desire the power of the throne, but the path to becoming Pharaoh is a perilous one. Unearth a breathtakingly vibrant recreation of the Bronze Age Collapse as you battle societal disarray, face natural disasters and fight to protect your people against waves of invaders.

In this Egyptian faction deep dive, we get a look at the four factions on the Egyptian side. Each of these has their own different playstyle.

Ramesses is a young, ambitious leader whose faction is all about martial prowess and speed. Ramesses can fight with all weapons, and enhances his own troops, making them full of elite warriors, able to take and dish out more than the average soldier. He is also very quick, capable of two court actions as well, making him a threat on the battlefield and off.

Seti, on the other hand, is all about war. Seti focuses entirely on building up a military capable of raiding and training quickly. As a leader, he can boost morale and improve his troops, though it comes at the expense of outside opinions of him.

Tausret is all about strategy and diplomacy. She can get an efficient, effective economy going while buffing her nearby provinces with unique buildings that layer in with each other to create a strong foundation. Add to that her own machinations, and Tausret can snowball pretty handily.

Finally Amenmesse, the Viceroy of Kush. He is all about gold. And the mining thereof. Sure there’s a lot of suffering related to extracting the gold from the earth, but when you can pay money to make your opinion rise, who cares?
