The long-awaited 11th (or 8th depending on how you count) of Futurama and the 35th season of The Simpsons aren’t Matt Groening’s only shows out this year. Disenchantment is coming to an end next month. The series premiered on Netflix in 2018 and follows the adventures and misadventures of Bean, a hard-drinking princess. She’s joined by her feisty elf companion, Elfo, and personal demon Luci.

Fans have watched Bean go from a hesitant princess to a rebellious revolutionary. In Part 5, her story comes to an epic conclusion–she comes face to face with her wicked mother, Queen Dagmar. Every victory, loss, and decision has led to this fight.

Can Bean prove the prophecy wrong and save the one she loves? Will she get her happy ever after?

It’s been nearly 18 months since the last season premiered, and fans have been worried that Bean’s story was being cut shot. It’s nice to see a show get a real send-off from Netflix rather than another cancellation.

The voice cast features Abbi Jacobson, Eric Andre, Nat Faxon, John DiMaggio, Tress MacNeille, Richard Ayoade, Matt Berry, Noel Fielding, Meredith Hagner, David Herman, Sharon Horgan, Maurice LaMarche, Lucy Montgomery, and Billy West.

The final season of Disenchantment arrives on Netflix on September 1st.
