Grab your thinking caps and put your heads together to help figure out the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop.

It’s Tuesday which means it’s time for another glorious Rumor Engine. This one is actually fairly easy to tell what it is…but that doesn’t mean the mystery is solved. Take a look and you’ll see what I mean.

Rumor Engine: ‘Put Your Heads Together’

So this is pretty clearly two skulls that have been bound together in some form of club or pick (on account of the spike going through both skulls). It’s probably all bones with the exception of the cordage used to bind it all together.

We also get a peek at some humanoid hand holding it as well. Finally, we can also tell these are humanoid skulls and not animals. There’s actually a lot of these details that help inform what we’re looking at. However, the larger picture is still a mystery.

So what or who could be wielding this weapon? Frankly, there’s just not enough to go on to guess. Skulls go together with Warhammer like peanut butter and jelly. And that’s true enough for both AoS and 40k. Although I am going to take a guess and say that it’s likely something from the Mortal Realms and not 40k.

Ghouls? Maybe? Your guess is as good as mine so drop your idea in the comments!

Meta-Narrative Update

As far as the Rumor Engine Narrative is going the “hidden” AI is striking again. This time it’s interrupting the “narrator” without them seeming to notice.

“Be calm” indeed. This isn’t the first time the creepy AI has communicated directly to us. But it’s the first time it’s uh…”interjected” like this. Perhaps there’s some type of split happening with our regular “narrator” and the new “AI Voice” that’s communicating with us. It’s been a weird ride so far — I’m here for it! Let’s keep watching how this one develops!

What is happening with the Rumor Engine and the weird AI?
