We are back! This week we’re talking about ATC and the tournament scene now that 10th has taken over. Plus, home vs. away games.

Red, Tanya, and Paul jibber jabber about recent tournaments, Ork lists, and base sizes. Tanya pulled down best painted and player’s choice at an event recently, and Paul is back from the ATC and GenCon.

Tanya opens the show by talking about her recent tournament experience. She took her amazingly painted army out for a spin.  The list was unconventional, but she got a few wins and brought home some hardware.

Paul and the Wrong Way Kids had a blast at the most recent ATC, but they didn’t do near as well as she did… ha. That’s ok. The event was extremely fun, and it was exciting to play as part of a team. You win and lose as a group. Spending time with your best buds playing 40k is a great way to spend a weekend away.

We do talk about base sizes and how these types of things are becoming more and more of how to play the game in an expected way against opponents. In-home games, you can make a lot of allowances and all that, but when you travel and play against people you might not know. The ‘social contract’ and tournament rules/restrictions matter a lot.
