Age of Sigmar: Dawnbringers Book III – New Book, New Models Inbound
Warhammer Day continues with more Age of Sigmar news. The Dawnbringers Book III is coming with two more new models!
The Dawnbringers Book III is called The Long Hunt and it looks like we’re getting a pretty heavy focus on the Order Grand Alliance with this one…with a splash of Ogors mixed in for fun. Plus, we’re getting two new boxed sets with some absolutely awesome miniatures included.

The Fyreslayers are getting a new army option. If you like your Magmadroths then how about a whole new way to field a bunch of them!
Also, the Ogor Mawtribes are going to get to bring in the new Gorgers with rules for the new models from Warcry as well as the Mawpit — and you don’t want to fail around that thing. Not only will Ogors be able to toss enemies into the pit, if you try to smash the terrain and fail you’re getting bit back!
New Character Models
Ionus Cryptoborn, Warden of Lost Souls
Ionus Cryptborn is back with a new Dragon buddy! This is an awesome looking model with a returning hero for the Stormcast Eternals.
Ionus Cryptborn was one of the heroes from the OG launch box for Age of Sigmar and he’s found a new drake that had been hanging out in the lands of Death looking for the Dragon’s version of the afterlife.
The first chance at this model will be in the new Cryptborn Stormwing boxed set. And just as reminder, here’s the old school Ionus model:
Belthanos, First Thorn of Kurnoth
Belthanos is about as close to getting an Avatar of Kurnoth as the Age of Sigmar can get. He’s got the Horn of Kurnoth and rides a big beetle.
Belthanos allows units to run and shoot with his horn. Combined with the rest of the Army of Renown rules, he’s going to be a much more aggressive Sylvaneth focused army than you might more accustomed to seeing.
If you want to run Spites and Kurnoth Hunters then this army is for you! I’m really digging that new Belthanos model…he’s a lot bigger than a regular Kurnoth Hunter and he’s got a big beetle bug, too! Crap. Now I want to play Sylvaneth…
