It’s almost Halloween, and if you have a party and need a costume quick, these anime masks will get you half way there.

If you’re planning to get together a costume for Halloween this year, now is the time! It will be time for trick-or-treating or scaring trick-or-treaters or parties before you know it, and you’ll want to be ready. Hopefully, some of these anime masks will make the costume-making experience just a little easier.

1. Chainsaw Man

Chainsaw Man was one of the biggest new anime of last season, and it’s undeniable that Denji’s transformed look is one of the most recognizable out there. This rubber helmet-style mask features the iconic smile (?) and chainsaw. All you need to add is a suit and tie–and it doesn’t even matter if they look a little wrinkled! Just be careful where you’re going… especially if you’re on the shorter side like me.

2. Demon Slayer‘s Inosuke

From the swordsmith village to the ghost children from the first story arc and even within the Hashira, there are lots of opportunities for masks in Demon Slayer. But let’s be honest about the funniest and possibly most fun option- it’s Inosuke. I’m sure the giant, furry, googly-eyed boar mask will get pretty hot throughout the course of your night. But it will be worth it for the pictures.

3. Dorohedoro‘s Shin

I loved Dorohedoro; I wish they’d made more of the anime. But it was a bit weird so I’m not surprised that it didn’t have the same sort of popularity as some other Netflix-produced animes. This one may be a deep-cut, but if you’re going to a party with a lot of anime-watchers or just want a look that’s pretty unsettling, Shin’s anatomically correct heart mask may be a winner.

4. Naruto‘s Obito

With a huge number of characters, Naruto is a show with a few masks to choose from. In fact, Obito here has a white or orange mask. And while I linked the white one here, the orange is, of course, readily available as well. There’s even one that lights up. The rest of this costume would take a little more work than some of our other pics. But the final product would be worth it.

5. My Hero Academia‘s Overhaul

My Hero Academia is a show full of superheroes and villains. Which means that it’s also full of wild masks. While not everybody hides their face or identity, the ones who chose to have a tendency to pick some memorable–if not terribly practical–masks. Like Overhaul’s steampunk-esque bird mask. It probably won’t give you his disassemble/reassemble powers though. Bummer, I know

Oh hey! BoLS might make a little dolla-dolla if you decide to buy these items. We need that money to make anime costumes. Cosplay is expensive.
